Retreats

The guild hosts retreats every year to which all members are invited.

We run away with our tools and patterns and enjoy a long weekend of sewing, talking, eating, and generally renewing our creativity!

We have booked The Best Little Retreat Center in Texas for October 25 & 26th, 2024,  a Friday and Saturday.   For newer quilters not familiar with  day retreats, you do not spend the night but their hours are 9:00am to 9:00pm each day and you may come and go as you wish but sleep in your own bed at night.   

There are several restaurants nearby or you may bring your own food.  A kitchen area provides a place to prepare meals.   

Each quilter has an “L” shaped work area consisting of 2-four foot adjustable tables,  electrical outlets, there are also two double sized cutting centers, 2 oversized ironing stations, design walls and adjustable rolling  chairs.  The two day cost is $52 and you will be able to sign up and pay the Retreat Center directly using the link below:
